rig up some random headlights ?...that i just have sitting around to just do the test? this is way too complicated. testing procedure setup is too time consuming. how many people have random spare headlights sitting around their garage. maybe we can go to junkyard buy some for $30 which is the same as o2 sensor.

How do you restore vacuum to the stupid reserve box so it won't switch from vent to defrost when driving. I disconnected the box once and I heard it loose the vacuum but since it will not regain and hold a vacuum.

The connection to the ECM can be isolated by disconnecting the connector that feeds the pulse signals to each injector. That suspicious faulty injector circuit should not have a short to ground. If it does, the injector will always be open. Wiring harnesses are prone to damage by heat or failure to the insulation caused by oil leaks or water intrusion. Vehicles that have their ECM mounted inside the engine compartment are a failure waiting to happen.

The data source can be selected in the Windows mixer (Microphone, Line-In or Wave). The frequency range depends on the sound card, but 20-20000Hz should be possible with all modern cards. The low frequency end is limited by the AC coupling of the line-in signal. Be aware, that most microphone inputs are only mono. The oscilloscope contains in addition a signal generator for 2 channels for sine, square, triangular, sawtooth wave forms and different noise spectra in the frequency range from 0 to 20kHz. The signal can be defined by a mathematical formula as well. The signals are available at the speaker output of the sound card. These can be fed back to the oscilloscope in order to generate Lissajous figures in the x-y mode. A special probe is required so the sound card is not destroyed.

Input Coupling is DC with that Hantek 1008. You need a BNC 1:1 AC Coupler to measure it correctly. Hantek does not have that feature. There are 6 diodes within an alternator, 3 positive and 3 negative. This test does NOT test a battery as a defect.

When the refrigerant leaves the expansion valve it's a low pressure liquid which allows it to evaporate to a low pressure vapor after it leaves the evaporater and enters the compressor. Liquids are not good for compressors it causes overheating and high amp draw
